Gli otto episodi della serie, saranno interpretati dall'  attore britannico Tom Riley (Monroe, Lost in Austen) nel ruolo del protagonista .
In un mondo controllato dal  pensiero e dalla fede, Leonardo Da Vinci  combatte per impostare la conoscenzavivendo   nel  conflitto tra verità e menzogna, religione e ragione, passato e futuro.
Il  genio  si presenta come una forza inarrestabile che solleva un'intera epoca di tenebre spingendola verso la  luce.
Da Vinci Demons andra in onda  nella primavera 2013 negli Stati Uniti . Nel  Regno Unito la BBC Worldwide che distribuira' la serie non ha ancora annunciato la data.


Da Vinci's Demons is a television drama series in production about Leonardo da Vinci's early life, scheduled to premiere on the BBC and Starz networks. The series is being written by David S. Goyer and marks the first collaborative effort between Starz and BBC Worldwide under a new co-production agreement. Described as a historical fantasy, the series will explore the untold story of da Vinci "inventing" the future at the age of 25.
