Death Comes To Pemberley Death Comes To Pemberley  è un adattamento del lavoro di Juliette Towhidi PD James , che , a sua volta , è stato ispirato dai personaggi di Orgoglio e Pregiudizio , l'opera di Jane Austen. Prodotta in tre episodi , la miniserie segue Elizabeth ( Anna Maxwell Martin ,  The Bletchley Circle ) e Mr. Darcy (Matthew Rhys, de The Americans) che , sei anni dopo gli eventi del libro della  Austen vivono a Pemberley con i loro due figli . Durante lo svolgimento di un ballo,con sorpresa arriva  Lydia ( Jenna - Louise Coleman , Doctor Who ) , sorella di Elisabetta ,  con la notizia che suo marito George Wickham ( Matthew Goode , Dancing on the Edge ) è stato assassinato . Nel cast anche  Rebecca Front (The Thick of It), James Fleet (Little Dorrit), Penelope Keith, Joanna Scanlan (The Thick of It e Getting On), Eleanor Tomlinson (The White Queen),James Norton, Tom Ward (Silent Witness) e Trevor Eve (Waking the Dead).
